19 links updated 13 Feb 1998 The Sci-Faiku Manifesto (poetry) Science Fiction Fantasy Design & Implementation Science Fiction and Fantasy Net SciFiList: Science Fiction in Paperbacks Visually fine site, rapidly expanding content, worth a look as of mid Feb 98, especially if interested in paperback collecting "Mission Statement: Provide a complete listing of all science fiction and fantasy paperback printings from the 50's to the 70's. Provide convenient links to authors. Provide a survey of science fiction artist. Allow the user to create an index of their books or an index of books that interest them. They will be able to query their own collection as well as SciFiList's database. This is done through cookies. This database currently goes from the early '50's to early '70's. Your browser must accept cookies if you desire to use the checkboxes. If you decide to use this site to index your books or interests I would suggest that you backup the cookie. Right now I am adding about 500 books a week to the database. I have requested that data from Baen Books but have not heard from them yet. This web site is in a constant state of change. Currently the database is being updated. In about a month this site will look completely different. I plan to have a page where users will be able to submit books for the database. Some authors such as Vance, and Farmer are now linked to other other sites. Click on author's name to go to sites concerning them. Click on artist's name to view the cover for that paperback. Planned pages on: Publisher's history Significant paperbacks Paperback collecting Review of current books Auction results of collectible books. Concerning the links page. My goal is quality not quantity. Currently my only link on this page is to a gentleman who sells old books and magazines at a great price and to a site that I feel my site is a complement to, the speculative fiction site.
